Carrie Light is the Program and Development Administrator at the Alvin V. Baird Attention and Learning Disabilities Center. She is responsible for ALDC financial management and organizational development.

Carrie earned her B.A. in Psychology from Messiah College in 2001 and has studied abroad at the University of La Verne in Athens, Greece and the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education in Cheltenham, England. She is currently working on her Masters of Education degree in Adult Education/Human Resource Development.

In 2002, Carrie relocated to Front Royal, Virginia and began working with at-risk youth and community development through the Warren County Community Health Coalition. In 2004 she began working on grant preparation and funding development for non-profit and educational institutions. Ms. Light has worked with organizations across the United States and internationally to secure grant funding and assist them in organizational development. She has successfully authored grants from private organizations; businesses; and local, state, and federal government agencies.
