Undergraduate Student Opportunities

There are counseling and research experiences available for undergraduate students at the Alvin V. Baird Attention & Learning Disabilities Center. Students have the opportunity to participate in federally funded research projects and meet other investigators from across the country. Students have presented at regional and national conferences and co-authored research articles and book chapters. There are opportunities for students to take advantage of these opportunities as an independent study, Capstone Field Placement, or for pay. The center recruits new research assistants every semester and in the summer and primary counselor positions in our treatment programs are available occasionally.
